About the Role
The opportunity has become available for a Clinical Midwifery Manager to join our amazing team in Private and Gynaecology.
The Clinical Midwife Manager position provides clinical leadership, effective management and is responsible for standards of nursing practice and monitoring client/patient care to ensure safe effective and efficient service provision.
The position provides operational and management support across all areas of service delivery, within our 30-bed inpatient Obstetric and Gynaecology Ward, four birth suites with assessment room and triage area.
What we are looking for
- Eligible for registration in the category of Midwife by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Demonstrated well developed leadership and management skills that influence and progresses clinical care, policy, and collaboration.
- Extensive clinical and professional knowledge in midwifery and gynaecology that evidences expert clinical skills.
- Extensive knowledge and application of human resource principles including budgeting.
- Demonstrated well developed skills and experience in quality improvement and the development of new systems of care.

Requirements
- Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
