Practice Manager

Full-time, 12-month Fixed-term Position | Ramsay Psychology Fortitude Valley and Clayfield

As Practice Manager, we want you to enjoy taking ownership of the clinic, and help build it into a busy, friendly, and professional service. This role will be working across two clinics in Brisbane, the Fortitude Valley Clinic, and our brand new Clayfield Clinic.

This role will suit someone with previous Office or Medical Receptionist experience, looking for the next step in their career. This is a great opportunity for someone who has a keen interest in growing the local referral network and supporting the growth of the clinics. 

Your high organisational capabilities coupled with understanding of medical or allied health practice processes will determine your success in this role.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Ensure clients have a positive experience with our service from their very first phone call
  • Marketing and business development support - help drive referrals to the clinic by building relationships with GPs and other healthcare professionals
  • Assisting with GP clinic drop ins, lunches, marketing correspondence and event planning
  • Diary management, triaging and scheduling of patient appointments
  • Accurate maintenance of patient records
  • Reception duties and handling patient enquiries, including website enquiries
  • End of month financial reporting, invoicing and accounts management
  • Processing patient accounts - billing, collections and reconciliations
  • Other general administrative functions as required

 

Your Skills and Experience

  • Knowledge of Medicare and HICAPS systems
  • Experience and knowledge of multiple patient management systems and software,
  • Previous experience managing a busy Medical Practice
  • Exceptional people skills and self confidence
  • Highly organised and able to prioritise
  • Comprehensive knowledge of online claiming and MBS as it pertains to provision of psychological and allied health services (desirable) 
  • Self-motivated with a desire for continued professional development/excellence

 

Remuneration: A base annual salary ranging from $70k + superannuation, based on relevant experience and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.

Requirements

  • Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
  • According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
