Coordinator of Clinical Communications

The successful candidate will possess strong communication skills, leading professional interactions and developing relationships with both internal and external stakeholders including; JHC Clinical Heads of Department and Nursing Managers, JHC Senior Leadership Team, JHC Media/Communications, JHC Public Contract Team and the North Metropolitan Health Service. 
 
  • The role requires a high level of professional integrity, managing sensitive information and reputational risk, whilst remaining patient-centred and solution-oriented.
  • This person will demonstrate a measured, pragmatic and process driven approach to their work, with the ability to prioritise demands and meet deadlines. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and excellent documentation/letter writing skills is essential to this position.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Supporting the Consumer Liaison Team in managing high level complaints.
  • Liaising with external complaints agencies as required.
  • Collaborating with clinical and non-clinical teams, gathering information to formulate Ministerial response letters/advice.
  • Liaising with the Senior Leadership Team to draft clinical Contentious Issue Briefing Notes requested by North Metropolitan Health Service.
  • Ensuring compliance with Ramsay Health Care and Western Australia Department of Health policy and legislation.
  • Coordination of escalation of high-level complaints to the Serious Incident Management Team.
  • Highlighting and escalating complaint trends to assist in driving service improvement and enhancing patient experience.
