About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Clinical Nurse to join our Emergency Department. In this leadership position, you will deliver advanced clinical nursing care and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
You will provide safe, timely, and cost-effective care to a diverse patient cohort, including adults and paediatrics, within a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a clinical resource, demonstrating comprehensive knowledge across all areas of emergency nursing to ensure high standards of care.
- Provide supervision, guidance, and support to nursing staff within the unit.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives aligned with organisational and departmental priorities.
Skills and Experience
- Critical Care experience.
- Triage competent.
- ALS / PALS competency.
- Experience in a busy public or private Emergency Department (Noosa).
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring strong clinical capability and proven experience in emergency or acute hospital settings.
You will also have:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Minimum five years’ post-graduate experience.
- At least three years’ experience in an Emergency Department.
- Previous experience in a Clinical Nurse role (highly desirable).
- Strong leadership capability and the ability to manage a designated portfolio.
- Excellent time management, clinical problem-solving, and organisational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and positively influence team performance.
- A relevant post-graduate certificate or equivalent qualification (desirable).
Renumeration: $54.72 - $58.82 Hourly + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (QLD RN Level 2).
