About the Role
You will be joining our friendly team across our general surgical/medical ward. We have a mix of Orthopaedic, Gynaecology, ENT (adults and paediatric), Urology, General Surgery and Plastics procedures.
As a member of our clinical leadership team, you will review, plan, oversee and deliver patient care within the unit under the guidance and support of the Nurse Unit Manager. As an Assistant Nurse Unit Manager, your role consists of clinical aptitude, dynamic planning and supportive leadership to enable the nursing team to provide a high level of quality service and care to our patient population.
About You
To succeed in this role, you must display strong clinical knowledge and competence within an acute surgical setting. You will hold a passion for client care and a high standard of customer-focused service in line with Ramsay's core values. You will have exceptional communication skills and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
You will also bring;
- Current registration with AHPRA
- Recent experience in General Med & Surg (Paediatrics)
- Clinical leadership experience or post graduate specialty qualifications will be highly regarded.
- Demonstrate excellent time management and organisational skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
