About the Role

An opportunity exists for dynamic and experienced Registered Nurse’s to join our Jacaranda Ward.

Jacaranda Ward is a 34-bed acute surgical ward with High Dependency beds. Surgical specialties include Vascular, Plastics, Urology, Thoracic, Bariatric, Orthopaedics, Spinal, Colorectal and Neurosurgery. We offer High dependency training onsite with an in-hospital run HDU course to successful applicants.

Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, the successful applicant will perform duties within their scope of practice to ensure a high level of quality patient care is delivered in line with the core values and strategic direction of the Hospital and Ramsay Health Care. You will assess, plan, coordinate and evaluate care delivery needs of patients.

The successful applicant will need to demonstrate flexibility to work within a rotating roster inclusive of AM, PM, night duty and weekend shifts. We are seeking candidates for permanent part-time positions.

 

About you

To be successful in this role you will be committed to providing a high standard of customer service, display strong communication and interpersonal skills.

You will also bring

  • Current registration with AHPRA.
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in an acute hospital setting.
  • Knowledge of Quality / Continuous Improvement processes.
  • Excellent work ethic and time management skills.
  • Ability to successfully work as a team member.

Requirements

  • Must provide or complete a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
