About the Role
A wonderful opportunity exists for an experienced Switchboard Operator to join our team at Pindara Private Hospital in this permanent part time opportunity.
In this role you will be responsible for actioning all incoming calls, responding to emergency calls, contacting doctors and medical staff and other various duties assigned by the Front Office Manager. This position works on a varied 24/7 rotating roster including morning, afternoon and weekend shifts.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will be a flexible, professional and articulate individual. You will have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service for all patients, visitors and Doctors focus.
You will also demonstrate:
- Previous experience in a busy switchboard or call centre environment.
- Advanced skills in enunciation, articulation and telephone etiquette.
- Effective listening skills and good attention to detail.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Problem solving and conflict resolution skills.

Requirements
- Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
