The Opportunity
Warners Bay Private Hospital is seeking an experienced Allied Health Manager to lead services across our inpatient rehabilitation/medical ward and outpatient services.
This senior leadership role is responsible for operational management, clinical governance oversight and service development within Allied Health. The successful candidate will contribute to strategic planning, workforce capability, financial sustainability and performance optimisation, ensuring delivery of safe, effective and evidence-based care aligned to hospital objectives.
The role forms part of the hospital’s clinical leadership structure and works in close partnership with the Executive team and medical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional and operational leadership to Allied Health services.
- Ensure services meet activity, quality and performance targets.
- Lead workforce planning, recruitment, supervision and performance management.
- Oversee program development, evaluation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain compliance with accreditation standards and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor service utilisation, productivity and financial performance.
- Support strategic growth of rehabilitation and medical services.
Essential Requirements & Qualifications
- Current registration with AHPRA (where applicable).
- Relevant tertiary qualification in an Allied Health discipline.
- Minimum five (5) years post-graduate clinical experience.
- Demonstrated leadership experience within a hospital or complex healthcare environment.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
- Proven ability to manage operational performance, service KPIs and workforce planning.
- Sound understanding of clinical governance, risk management and accreditation frameworks.
