The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Materials & Systems Advisor to join the Qube team in our West Perth office, to identify and present recommendations to the business on the management of materials.

Key Responsibilities
The primary purpose of the Materials & Systems Advisor is to identify and present recommendations to the business on the management of materials. This role will support the implementation and transition to new suppliers or purchasing routines with main focus area being the updating of maintenance systems. This role will provide forecasting and reporting on materials usage and drive opportunities to improve Qube’s return on spend.
- Coordinate tenders for key commodities and make recommendations to the business.
- Support implementation of changes to current suppliers
- Maintain data integrity within the maintenance systems (gatekeeper) for materials management.
- Consolidation and tracking of rise and fall movements aligned to vendor contracts
- Support deployment of consignment stock mobility project, creating and maintain parts list catalogues within a maintenance system
- Timely and accurate data entry.
- Support data entry for Life Cycle Costing cost reviews
Qualification & Experience
To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- A minimum of 2 years previous experience in a similar role.
- Certificate II or III in Business / Procurement or equivalent qualification
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with a variety of people
- Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint skills preferred
- Ability to work well within in a small team
