The enrollment coordinator serves as a member of the Continuing & Professional Education team, working in all areas of participation services including conference data and revenues, complying with Funds Handling guidelines, for nearly 400 programs per year serving 35,000+ participants. Maintain detailed knowledge of team programs to effectively work with faculty and staff and market programs to the public. This unit is the first point of contact for many participants coming to the University from around the world this requires excellent communication and listening skills combined with a focus on exceptional customer service. Occasional travel required to provide onsite local and out of town registrations. Occasional weekend, early morning, and late evening work required based upon program schedules.
Customer service experience in a high-volume environment; computer skills such as word processing, spreadsheets and data entry; fiscal processing experience such as funds handling or auditing records; administrative skills; capability to work independently with a minimum of supervision in a team environment is necessary along with the ability to separate facts and make independent decisions; must have the ability to work with many details, both financial and written, with high accuracy; strong communication skills are necessary to work with a very diverse national and international clientele.
Knowledge of State and University policies; experience with Microsoft Office or similar software; training or related experience in accounting or bookkeeping; experience working with conferences/events in registration/enrollment capacity; experience working with databases.
Commensurate with experience up to a budget maximum of $41,000
The successful candidate will be required to have a criminal conviction check.
