The Business Support Specialist reports directly to the Associate Director of Business Operations. This position will assist in managing the Wage hiring process and serve as a backup for Wage Payroll exports and salary overtime entries. This position will also collect, log, and process department invoices and travel reimbursements. The position will ensure all campus hiring requirements are met in a timely manner, and all travel reimbursements and department invoices are processed in accordance with Department, University, State, Equity in Athletics Disclosure Act, and NCAA reporting guidelines. This position will also be expected to complete other projects as assigned by members of the Business Office or Athletics Administration.
Experience with Microsoft Office software such as Word, Outlook, and Excel.
Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
Ability to work effectively in a diverse environment.

Ability to work in a high volume and fast paced environment, and meet deadlines.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Knowledge of University and State financial policies and procedures regarding payment processing and personal reimbursements.
Experience with and demonstrated knowledge of Banner/PeopleSoft/Oracle Fusion Cloud, eVA, Chrome River, TimeClock Plus, Legacy Web Reports, and/or workflow systems (OrgSync, ARMS, JumpForward).
Associate's degree or relevant experience in business administration or similar field.
Knowledge of NCAA Division I Bylaws.
Experience working in a Division I Athletic Department.
Commensurate with experience.
The successful candidate will be required to have a criminal conviction check.
