The Resident Director position is a full-time, 10 month, live-in professional position that reports directly to an Assistant Director and the Director of Residence Life. Resident Directors are responsible for creating and fostering a residential community in which all students can experience belonging, support, and challenge. Resident Directors partner in the holistic educational mission of the university by strategically planning for students’ personal, spiritual, social, and academic development through a wide range of formational and community activities and programming. Resident Directors provide a high level of student care, mentoring, and intervention that few others on campus can match.
