Job Summary: Drake University’s Occupational Therapy Doctorate Program invites applications for an Adjunct Faculty position in Occupational Therapy to teach a 3-credit hour professional course (lecture and labs) in neuroscience for fall semester 2025. Duties include design, planning and delivery of classes, evaluation of student performance/skills, assign grades, and periodic interactions with students outside of the classroom to discuss student progress. Instructor will also have regular contact with assigned lab assistant who will support teaching and learning in lab sections for the course, as well as a supervising full-time Occupational Therapy faculty member. |
Minimum Qualifications: Applicant must be an NBCOT certified occupational therapist, with a master’s degree in occupational therapy or higher, and be licensed in Iowa by the time the appointment begins. General knowledge and expertise in common clinical conditions treated by occupational therapists, evidence-based practice, clinical reasoning and critical analysis are required. |
Preferred Qualifications: Applicants with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in acute care, home health or physical rehabilitation are preferred. |
