Job Summary: The Drake University Leadership & Counseling Department invites applications for an adjunct instructor position. This position will be responsible for teaching a three-credit graduate section of COUN 286 College and Career Readiness. This is School Counseling specific course where students learn career exploration/development, college access, college knowledge information and postsecondary preparation. The successful candidate will teach a full section of the course during the fall 2026 term. The instructor is responsible for developing the course content and teach the course in the Fall as an in-person course. The instructor is responsible for delivering course content, facilitating activities, and grading assignments. This course is required of all students specializing in School Counseling. |

Minimum Qualifications: A minimum of a master’s degree in school counseling and school counseling experience is required. |

Preferred Qualifications: Five or more years experience as a school counselor. |
