The SASP Student Success and Retention Advisor provides direct academic, career, personal guidance, and advocacy to support academic success, transfer, and graduation of program participants. The position facilitates the development of educational, career, and transfer plan from a variety of sources, course selection, interpretation of academic rules and regulations, policies and procedures. Regularly monitors and documents academic progress, completes follow-up contacts face-to-face, in groups, through social media and online community activities. Provides advocacy, makes intervention and referrals for other student support, campus services, and community resources.

Part-time Paramedic Instructor in Arnold/Main Campus
We're looking for instructors that are enthusiastic and engaging with students, and willing to be a team player with other full time and part time faculty and staff members. The Paramedic Instructor is responsible for delivering high-quality education and training to paramedic students, preparing them for state and national certification exams and field practice. The instructor develops, implements and grades within the paramedic curriculum, conducts classroom lectures, hands-on skills labs, and mentors during clinical rotations. This role requires collaboration with full-time instructors, Director of EMS, medical directors, clinical sites, and EMS agencies to ensure students receive comprehensive and current paramedic education. The instructor is also responsible for maintaining their own certifications and continuing education to stay updated with advancements in emergency medical services.

Part Time Faculty - Public Health in Arnold/Main Campus
Effectively teach public health subject matter to primarily Public Health undergraduate students. Courses may be face-to-face, live virtual, online or hybrid format, depending on the courses taught. Possible subjects include essentials of health behavior, global health, epidemiology, emerging public health issues or introduction to public health. Pay rate is determined based on experience, certifications, and qualifications.

Diesel Technology Instructor in Arnold/Main Campus
Part time evening instructor position. Instructor is responsible for classroom and lab instruction in Diesel Technology trade. The instructor will follow the curriculum outline and learning expectations. Content is housed in Canvas (online learning platform). Instructors must have some computer experience, expertise in the trade and the ability to effectively manage a classroom. Prior teaching experience is not required. A desire to share your knowledge of the industry with future skilled trades workers is a must! Instructors will be required to adhere to Anne Arundel Community College’s Adjunct Faculty Instructional policies and procedures.
