Standard Work Schedule: Shift: Other Shift

If Not a Standard Work Schedule: Depending on Campus assignment hours may be 5am to 2 pm; 6am to 3pm; or 7am to 4 pm.

Job Duties and Responsibilities: General Custodial and Cleaning maintenance in an Educational Institution Setting. Cleaning, Disinfecting, dusting, vacuuming, moping, sweeping. empty trash, clean marker boards, tables and chairs in preparation for start of classes. Cleaning and Disinfecting of Restrooms, water fountains and other high traffic "touch points" for general public Health safety. Participate as directed by supervisor in team cleaning events and Special event set up. attend regular training and safety classes as directed by supervision.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience: 
High School diploma + 1 years of relevant experience, or higher degree.

Equivalent Qualifications: 

Preferred Qualifications: 
Knowledge and experience in the use of Commercial Cleaning machines, like scrubbers, carpet extractors and water pick up machines.

Special Certification/Licensure: 

Working Conditions and Physical Effort

Environment: Work involves moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises.

Physical Effort: Considerable physical activity. Physical work is a primary part (more than 70%) of the job.

Lifting Requirements: Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 25 pounds or standing and/or walking for more than four (4) hours per day.

Risk: Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions.
