PROS Administrative Student Assistant (Summer) in Norman
Psychological Resources for OU Student-Athletes (PROS) is the embedded mental health and performance psychology department within the OU Athletic Department. PROS seeks an enthusiastic, personable, and inclusive front desk administrative assistant to support the everyday functioning of the PROS department through excellent client service, administrative diligence, and high-quality initiative and follow through. Essential Duties: Ability to work well with a variety of staff, coaches, and clients, particularly the various identities represented within the OU student-athlete population Ability to communicate well and build rapport quickly with student-athletes, coaches, administrators, and other staff who interact with the PROS department Answer PROS phones and emails; respond to messages on Teamworks Coordinate the weekly schedule of PROS consulting psychiatrist, including sending appointment reminders, communication with Athletic Medicine team and PROS staff members, and the consulting psychiatrist Schedule walk-in clients for counseling appointments, as well as being responsive to walk-in crisis/emergency situations Schedule ADHD/Learning Disorder testing appointments and assist in management of PROS Testing Waitlist Assist ADHD/Learning Disorder testing clients with initial paperwork, including explaining the paperwork and reviewing paperwork upon completion Ensure that ADHD/Learning Disorder files are prepared for weekly testing appointments Give intake paperwork for all first-time appointments Pick up weekly mail for PROS office Maintain timely and accurate scheduling in the PROS electronic medical record Help PROS staff with other assigned administrative duties/projects Participate in weekly PROS Group Supervision staff meeting, which is scheduled for Thursdays from 10am - 12pm Attend relevant department, campus, and mental health-related trainings that are attended by the entire PROS staff Maintain clean and organized front desk space
