About the office of Outreach, Recruitment, and Orientation: The Department of Outreach, Recruitment, and Orientation at California State University, Fullerton is committed to guiding prospective students and their families through the information-seeking and enrollment process for both the California State University system and Cal State Fullerton. We provide essential in-person and virtual tailored support services to facilitate a seamless transition to college, not limited to admissions requirements, CSU application workshops, campus tours, and new student orientation. Our personalized assistance aims to promote access to higher education, foster a diverse and inclusive community, and provide a foundation for student success. About the Orientation Leader Position: Orientation Leaders will assist the department of Outreach, Recruitment, and Orientation in executing CSUF Orientation programs, inclusive of New Student Orientation, Parent & Supporter Orientation and Welcome Week activities. Orientation Leaders are responsible for supporting general event operations, leading small groups, leading campus tours, facilitating workshops, and forming connections with campus partners, new students, and parents and supporters. We are looking for a team of Orientation Leaders that represent a spectrum of experiences through majors, on and off campus involvements, interests, accomplishments, and backgrounds. Being an Orientation Leader is the perfect way to grow leadership skills, make a positive impact on new Titans, and build your own community of student leaders. Position Responsibilities:
Position Time Commitments: Anticipate 30 - 40 hours per week throughout the summer term.

Ability to learn and perform assigned work; follow oral instructions; work cooperatively with faculty, staff, and other students; communicate effectively with all levels; and read and write English at a level appropriate to the position. |
