The International Student Services Specialist serves as a frontline staff member, providing support to the Office of International Student Services as a Designated School Official (DSO). Manager of Academic Development Calabasas Campus
The Manager of Academic Development will assist the Dean of Academic Initiatives in developing an array of healthcare-related academic programs to comprise a possible School of Health Sciences at Pepperdine University. The manager’s responsibilities and scope of duties will be diverse and change over time to address the differing development needs of the new school and its academic and support programs. The manager will provide integral support to the dean in all areas required for academic program evaluation and development. These include, but are not limited to the following: program licensure and accreditation, research, market analysis, curriculum development, planning, facility assessment, clinical placements and externships, missional and service-learning programming, consultant support and management, community and partnership engagement, data mining and analysis, report writing, presentation development, and other administrative functions. The manager’s duties will change as program development progresses. The work of the manager will be integral to the University’s analysis of the feasibility of the new school and its programs. The ideal candidate will derive great satisfaction from contributing meaningfully to the development of a new academic enterprise highly aligned with the Pepperdine’s Christian Mission and that has the potential to shape the future of the University.
