Student Assistant - Wege Prize High School Collaborative Studio (Student Position) Grand Rapids, MI 49503
Youth Coordinator assisting with the Wege Prize High School Collaborative Studio providing assistance with marketing, event coordination, pre-work including marketing and social media strategy and deployment. They assist in the event planning as well as event facilitation and post-production documentation. They assist with assessments, preparing grant reports, defining and managing metrics and narrative, and they prepare an annual report. Coordinators will work on average 10 hours per week in July, and full time, 40 hours during the event weeks of July 21 and August 1. The weeks of July 14, August 3 and August 12 will average 10 hours per week for pre and post-production.

Advanced Chemical Analyst (Full-Time/Temporary) Big Rapids, MI 49307
This is a full-time, temporary, grant-funded position to provide operational and maintenance support for the Shimadzu Core Laboratory (SCL) until 8/31/26. Working with chemical analysis and familiarity with a wide range of analytical equipment including high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), mass spectrometers and NMR. Core responsibilities, under the direction of the SCL Director, will include supervising student workers on various projects using scientific instruments such as HPLC-MS and NMR, administering training for students and faculty in laboratory safety regulatory compliance and instrument usage, overseeing instrument maintenance and repair, and ordering of supplies as well as general office work. The anticipated start date of this position is March 2025; however this is an estimated date and can be revised if needed. Required: MS or PhD in science related to Analytical Chemistry Methods or BS in science related to Analytical Chemistry Methods with 2-5 years experience with NMR and/or LCMS. The Project Coordinator for the Kendall College of Art and Design of Ferris State University (KCAD) Commencement is responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of the institution's commencement ceremony and annual student exhibition. This individual will work closely with key stakeholders, including the KCAD Commencement Committee members, faculty, administration, students, and external vendors, to ensure that the events are organized, seamless, and a memorable experience for graduates, families, and faculty. The role requires strong project management skills, attention to detail, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously. Lead Boiler Plant Operator Big Rapids, MI 49307
The Lead Boiler Plant Operator operates, monitors, and maintains plant equipment to ensure reliable, safe, and efficient operation of the plant systems. This includes high pressure boilers and auxiliary equipment using natural gas as the primary fuel source to ensure continuous reliable and critical service of steam to facilities located on the University’s campus.
