LCRA is looking for a Manager to join our Contracts and Conservation Team. As part of LCRA's Water team, your expertise in contract management and conservation programs will contribute to the mission of Water Resource Management. You are someone that works well with our customers, knows how outreach programs need to be structured, and can develop a conservation program that works for LCRA and for our customers.

As the manager of this team, you will oversee firm water contracts, water conservation and drought contingency plans, agricultural water savings programs, several drought response programs and several others. All of these are outward facing and require you to work closely with our customers.

You will be trusted to:

  • Oversees water supply contracts for firm water use and domestic water use
  • Develops LCRA Water Conservation and Drought Contingency Plans
  • Manages the HB1437 Agricultural Program for water savings
  • Provides expertise on the drought response team, and manages the pro rata curtailment program.
  • Develops and manages the outreach programs with our customers for water rebates and cost-share programs.

You qualify with:

  • Twelve or more years of experience in water program planning and implementation, water conservation, or other relevant experience. A degree(s) in business, planning, social science, environmental management or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.
  • Driver’s license

You are a great fit with:

  • Basic knowledge of contract management.
  • Experience in Water Conservation and Drought Contingency Plan development.
  • Experience in development and management of a conservation program.
