LCRA’s Solution Implementation team is looking for an experienced PeopleSoft Developer to join our team at LCRA. LCRA is a billion-dollar public enterprise that exists to improve the quality of life of the people of Texas through water stewardship, energy and community service, and we’ve been doing it since 1934. This role is integral to our team of technology professionals, based in Austin, Texas, where you will contribute to the design, development, implementation, configuration, and maintenance of our PeopleSoft application, delivering innovative software solutions to business challenges.

You will be trusted to:
- Apply industry experience and leading practices to architect, design, develop and implement PeopleSoft solutions to support complex business requirements. - Perform PeopleSoft application development, system administration, troubleshooting software issues and maintaining patch levels. - Develop and troubleshoot integrations in PeopleSoft Integration broker to integrate key enterprise-wide systems. - Develop reports in the PeopleSoft application to support business use cases. - Gather and document user requirements and functional/technical specifications for software solutions as needed. - Independently work to schedule and plan workload within a larger team, managing tasks and timelines to meet larger deadlines, while coordinating within a dynamic project. - Strong knowledge of Peoplesoft 9.2 application configuration and support including the Fluid interface. - Demonstrate developed functionality to LCRA staff prior to the implementation of new or revised technical solutions and offers advice and guidance during the implementation process. - Determine the level effort in implementing changes or enhancements to existing PeopleSoft systems due to changes in user requirements, legislative mandates, and new software releases.

You qualify with:
- Nine or more years of experience in developing and programming/coding software applications or relevant experience. A degree(s) in computer science or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.
You are a great fit with:
- Strong experience with PeopleSoft programs like SQR, Application Engine, PeopleCode, COBOL, etc. - Proficiency in SQL and ability to write queries against PeopleSoft data model. - Experience in development/Configuration and support of PeopleSoft modules like Lease Administration - Prepare and provide recommendations for technical solutions to enhance business processing efficiency of existing and/or new processes. - Assists in resolving day to day related issues and troubleshoot user inquiries. - Resourcefulness, creativity, and strategic thinking. - Experience facilitating sessions. - Good interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively on diverse teams. - Sound verbal and written communication skills.
