In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for coordinating repairs and maintenance, both internally and with external partners, utilizing your expertise in the field to ensure operational efficiency. You will be trusted to:
- Schedule out of town work orders for preventive/corrective maintenance. - Schedule work orders and repairs between customers and vendors to maintain on time compliance. - Create work orders, ensuring the status are updated, uploading receipts, update GPS and complete work orders. - Update and maintain diagnostic software used in the Automotive and Hydraulic shops. - Assist in scheduling training and training dates for crew. - Provide coverage for other schedulers as needed.
You qualify with:
- Three or more years of experience in work management, electrical maintenance, mechanical maintenance, plant maintenance or transmission system maintenance, or relevant experience. - A degree(s) in project management, industrial maintenance, operations management or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.
You are a great fit with:
- Knowledge of Fleet Automotive maintenance principles and methods. - Experience in estimating labor and materials required for fleet maintenance and repair work - Experience in planning, scheduling, prioritizing and coordinating work with several groups - Experience in office productivity applications (such as email, word processing, spreadsheets) - Ability to effectively communicate with team members, supervisors/management, customers and external organizations under normal and emergency conditions
