What you will be doing in this role
As a full-time Scrub Scout Registered Nurse you will report into our Operating Suite, Nurse Unit Manager. You will work within a collaborative and supportive team environment of our highly skilled nursing team. We have a large perioperative team, who support 19 operating theatres and maintain the highest standards in patient-centred care.
Who we’re looking for:
- You’ll have current AHPRA registration as an RN
- You’ll have at least 2 years of experience as a scrub/scout in either orthopaedic or neuro spinal surgeries.
- You’ll have demonstrated an elevated level of empathy and strong emotional intelligence.
- You’ll be an exceptional communicator (both verbally and written) with demonstrated experience professionally communicating with patients, their families and colleagues.
- You’ll have the flexibility to work in a full time role, Monday – Friday.
- You’ll be available to participate in the on call roster as required
- You’ll have full Australian working rights
