The Security Control Room Officer (SCRO) is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the security services of Monash University Malaysia through the effective operation of security systems and equipment. This role requires excellent attention to detail, strong situational awareness, and the ability to respond promptly and appropriately to security incidents or emergencies. The SCRO will work under the supervision of the Senior Security Officer (SSO).
Principal Technical Officer Main campus - Malaysia HEW 6
The Principal Technical Officer will be leading the Mechatronic Engineering laboratory and will be reporting to the School of Engineering Laboratory Manager. He or she will also play a role of providing direct support to laboratory colleagues, academic staff, and students, under the supervision and direction of the Laboratory Manager.

Lecturer / Senior Lecturer (Management, Social Entrepreneurship, Strategy, Digital and International Business) Main campus - Malaysia Level B
A Level B/C education-focused academic is expected to make contributions to the teaching effort of the university and to carry out activities to maintain and develop her/his scholarly, research and/or professional activities relevant to the profession or discipline. The academic will be responsible in teaching and administration of undergraduate, postgraduate and executive education programs in the area of Management, Social Entrepreneurship, Strategy, Digital and International Business within the School. The academic will also be responsible for undertaking activities that maintain and develop scholarly research and the professional activities that are related to the discipline. The role contributes primarily to teaching of Management, Social Entrepreneurship, Strategy, Digital and International Business related units at undergraduate and graduate levels and conducting competitive industry focused research on business. The areas of interest include but are not limited to human resource management, organisational behavior, strategic management, international management, organisational change, digital business and business sustainability.
Senior Lecturer - Epidemiology Main campus - Malaysia Level C
We are seeking an experienced and motivated academic to join the School of Medicine as a Senior Lecturer in Epidemiology, based in the Department of Global Population Health at Monash University Malaysia. The successful candidate will play a key role in advancing the Department’s teaching and research agenda, particularly in the development and delivery of a new interdisciplinary Master of Global Health program, and will contribute to shaping the future Centre for Global Health Equity. The appointee is expected to have a strong track record in epidemiology and global health research, and will contribute to postgraduate education, research leadership, and external engagement in line with Monash’s strategic priorities in global health equity.

An academic at this level is also expected to play a major role in scholarship, research and/or professional activities. The key result areas of Research, Teaching and Engagement are the basis for the primary duties and responsibilities of the role. A workload will be agreed upon annually with the Head of School during the Performance Development Plan process. Other duties may be required from time to time as directed by the Head of School.

Research Fellow - Climate Change Communication Research (CCCR) Main campus - Malaysia Level B
The Level B Research Fellow will be an essential contributor to our work on Climate Change Communication Research at Monash Malaysia. The CCCR node conducts evidence-based research across communications, social science and biophysical science that is able to inform climate communication programs in South-east Asia. In particular, the climate literacy, concern and behavioural response of diverse social groups in Malaysia to climate change needs to be comprehensively understood prior to any recommendations for communications strategies and policy responses.

The Postdoctoral Research Fellow (RF) is expected to advance the Fintech Lab’s mission to bridge academia and industry. By collaborating with the Schools of Business and IT across the university’s Australia and Malaysia campuses, the RF ensures that research efforts are interdisciplinary and relevant, producing tangible outcomes like peer-reviewed publications and grant-funded initiatives that elevate the lab’s academic and practical impact. Beyond research, the RF serves as a catalyst for knowledge exchange and capacity building within the Fintech Lab. Associate Head of School (Engagement) & Associate Professor/ Professor (Computer Science/Software Engineering/AI) Main campus - Malaysia Level E
The Associate Head of School (Engagement) (AHoSN) is responsible to the School of Information Technology and to the Malaysia Campus for the provision of leadership and management within the School in the area of student engagement, positive & progressive academic staff culture, as well as external engagement and impact.  The AHoSN will champion the engagement initiatives with current, past (alumni) and future students, in line with the School’s strategic plans to have long-term synergistic relationships with its student population. This also includes leading all industry, government and community relationships and initiatives. Working within Monash’s strategy framework to support key engagement objectives to build partnerships with individuals, government and other organisations, this position is to enrich our ability to innovate and apply our educational initiatives and/or research to make significant impact to our community, and to ensure outstanding enterprising capabilities and opportunities for students.  This position is a member of the School senior leadership team and is a contributor, in the area of specialisation, to the overall management of the School. This position will also chair the School’s Industry Advisory Panel. The incumbent will be appointed to level D (Associate Professor) or E (Professor) depending on his/her experience and qualifications.  Academics at this level may be appointed in recognition of distinction in their disciplinary area.
