Lecturer - Marketing Main campus - Malaysia Level B
The academic will be responsible for teaching and administration of undergraduate, postgraduate and executive education programs in the area(s) of strategic marketing and digital marketing within the School. The academic will also be responsible for undertaking activities that maintain and develop scholarly research and professional activities that are related to the discipline.
Research Fellow Main campus - Malaysia Level B
The Postdoctoral Research Fellow (RF) is expected to advance the Fintech Lab’s mission to bridge academia and industry. By collaborating with the Schools of Business and IT across the university’s Australia and Malaysia campuses, the RF ensures that research efforts are interdisciplinary and relevant, producing tangible outcomes like peer-reviewed publications and grant-funded initiatives that elevate the lab’s academic and practical impact. Beyond research, the RF serves as a catalyst for knowledge exchange and capacity building within the Fintech Lab. Through mentoring postgraduate students, engaging with industry partners, and delivering workshops or policy briefs, the RF helps translate complex fintech concepts into actionable insights that benefit stakeholders in Malaysia, Australia, and the broader Asia-Pacific region.
Research Assistant Main campus - Malaysia Level A
The Research Assistant (RA) is expected to support the Fintech Impact Lab’s mission to bridge academia and industry. The RA will thus contribute to both the interdisciplinary research and the industry engagement activities of the Lab.
Lecturer - Communication and Media Studies Main campus - Malaysia Level B
A Level B academic in Communication and Media Studies is expected to make contributions to the teaching effort of the university and to carry out activities to maintain and develop her/his scholarly, research and/or professional activities relevant to the profession or discipline. The appointee should have an emerging track record of high-quality research in media and/or communications studies. Expertise in big data and society, digital Science & Technology Studies (STS), and/or mixed research methods (quantitative, qualitative, hybrid) in media and communications studies will be an advantage. The appointee should be able to teach subjects in digital media and communication as well as communication research methods at postgraduate level. The appointee is expected to contribute to ongoing curriculum development, supervise Honours and Higher Degree Research students, and conduct and produce high quality research in Communication and Media Studies and/or cognate fields. Experience in managing large-scale undergraduate programs is highly desirable. Evidence of successful grant applications with publication outcomes and/or collaborative/multi-disciplinary research will be an added advantage. The appointee ideally would have a research focus broadly compatible with the research strength of the school on Southeast Asia and/or Asia more broadly.
E-Vigilation Supervisor Main campus - Malaysia
The e-Vigilation Supervisor is responsible for delivering high-quality administrative support to ensure the effective operation of the University’s eExams. This role encompasses a variety of tasks related to maintaining the integrity of online exam delivery, online supervision of students attempting eExams, and providing tier-one technical support as required. The e-Vigilation Supervisor is the primary point of contact for students during their examinations and is expected to offer timely professional advice and first-level technical support, ensuring a smooth and efficient e-Exam experience.

This position is to look for Data Collector who will collect data for Heat Care project. The data collection carry out at the field in 5 sub-district at Segamat Johor. The Data collector required to go from house to house for the data collection.
Manager, External Engagement Main campus - Malaysia HEW 7
The Manager, External Engagement leads the external engagement initiatives in the School of Science to achieve its priorities in education and research. The incumbent drives the implementation of future student recruitment and alumni relations strategies, programs and initiatives aligned with the School and University’s strategic objectives. This Manager, External Engagement also contributes in the delivery of the School of Science’s industry and government partner engagement and research business development that includes managing a range of strategic and operational activities including the identification and cultivation of industry and government research opportunities aligned to school strategic research priorities; the provision of timely advice and support to the academic researchers for costing and pricing of the contracts, consultancies, tenders and industry-related grants; the development and implementation of contractual agreements in line with University processes; and the coordination of other engagement initiatives as they arise across the School of Science and University.
