Department Summary:

The Department of Psychology and Neuroscience has 10 faculty members with expertise across a range of subdisciplines in psychology and neuroscience. Our program focuses on the science of psychology, with a strong emphasis on experimental design and interpretation.

Job Summary:

This position will teach a section of Introductory Psychology (PSY 001) in the Fall 2026 semester. This is the first course in the psychology major course sequence, and it is also frequently taken by non-majors as a required or elective course. The course is capped at 70 students usually in their first or second year. Students in the course also complete a co-requisite laboratory section taught by a teaching assistant.

Minimum Qualifications:

ABD (BS/BA in psychology or closely related field)

Preferred Qualifications:

PhD in psychology or closely related field
