| The Senior Project Manager position supports the preparation and submission of large. strategic funding proposals to federal and state agencies. Such proposals will fund initiatives in alignment with OU’s research strengths and the OU strategic plan. These types of proposals typically involve more than one College as well as teams from Office Technology Transfer and Commercialization and the Office of Strategic Engagement and Partnerships. The Senior Project Manager must work collaboratively with these offices and Proposal Managers to ensure the proposal is complete and compliant with all sponsor requirements. The Senior Project Manager is specifically responsible for such areas as identification and mitigation of risk associated with the initiative, building new organizational structures to support the initiative (when called for), and sustainability planning that extends a strategic initiative beyond the life of any one grant. The Senior Project Manager will contribute to the successful execution of such awards, and/or facilitate the onboarding of other project managers around the institution for such purposes. |

Archaeology Lab Assistant (Fall)

| Under the direction of the Lab Director, Lab Assistants will perform tasks integral to the processing and management of archaeological collections generated by Survey projects. The primary duties of Lab Assistants include washing and sorting artifacts, processing floatation, cataloging collections, preparing collections for accession, and the analysis of artifacts as needed. Lab Assistants may also be assigned other duties in addition to or instead of these primary tasks. These include, but are not limited to, water screening, preservation efforts, assisting with paperwork and/or database management, cleaning, and other survey-related duties and activities. Undergraduate Research Assistant (FALL)

| The School of Biological Sciences is searching for an Undergraduate Research Assistant to work on spinal cord control of leg movements. Our research focuses on how an animal's nervous system selects and generates appropriate behaviors for each circumstance the animal faces.
In this position, you will primarily assist with animal surgeries related to this research goal. No experience is required, however excellent hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills are necessary.
Duties include:
Animal surgeries: This will include anesthetizing the animal, exposing the spinal cord, and separating nerves from other tissues without damaging them.
Cleaning and organization of the laboratory
Operation of autoclave, making solutions as needed
Other duties as assigned |
