Home Claims Assessing Manager – Melbourne (VIC)
- Lead a team of Home Claims Assessors

- Hybrid work location - WFH, On Road with the team & Office (Melbourne CBD)
The Role:
This role will lead approximately 10 – 12 Internal Home Claims Assessors who work virtually and on road across Victoria.
You will be responsible for ensuring our Assessing team deliver a Best-in-Class Claims experience for our internal claims team, business partners and customers.
What you’ll do:
- Drive a high performing culture and a safe & inclusive workplace.
- Take ownership to drive your team’s performance in achieving business targets and goals.
- Provide direction, support and leadership to your team through varied channels (virtually, on road & in office).
- Regular review and communicate business practices ensuring national consistency, governance and process standards are met.
- Engage with peers and key stakeholders to understand overall Home Claims performance and leverage your team’s capability effectively (technical or event support).
- Look for and own continuous improvement initiatives aligned to our Assessing & Repair Strategy.
What you’ll bring:
- Hands on practical people leadership (2 years leadership experience mandatory)
- Awareness of Home Insurance / Property Claims
- Ability to prioritise effectively & strong communication
- Full unrestricted drivers licence (mandatory)
