We are currently looking for a consultant to join our Portfolio & Underwriting (UW) Strategy team. This is a key role to support the operation of Suncorp New Zealand’s business and consumer portfolios and provide insight on emerging trends and insurance risks.
What you’ll do:
· Help deliver the Suncorp NZ portfolio and UW strategic and quarterly business planning processes.
· Help prepare Suncorp NZ portfolio and UW strategy and business plan materials, regular Senior Leadership Team reporting, and develop other materials as required.
· Help deliver projects as required.
· Deliver competitor intelligence, including research of competitor results and business information, and analysis to gain insight into competitor advantages or opportunities.
· Participate as a member in Suncorp NZ Strategy community.
What you’ll bring:
· 3+ years of relevant experience
· Experience in a business strategy or portfolio function - desired
· Experience in managing senior stakeholders
· Strong analytical capability (including data analysis)
· Excellent business writing skills
