The Role
This role will contribute to the development and execution of cyber security advisory and awareness activities to educate NAB Group colleagues about their role in keeping the bank safe. This includes advice and awareness regarding defences against security threats, protecting customer and corporate information, and maintaining the integrity of NAB systems.
The role will also assist in delivering security outreach activities to NAB customers, and the broader community, to raise awareness of security threats. This includes information and advice on cyber threats, fraud and scams, and simple precautions help people protect themselves online, in order to enhance customer trust in the security of NAB’s banking channels.
Responsibilities
- Contributing to and assisting to deliver security awareness activities for NAB’s customers, and the broader community via presentations, online resources and other outreach activities such as liaison with industry and government partners.
- working with business risk partners and committees to provide data and metrics to raise awareness of security risks and secure behaviours.
- contributing to and assisting to deliver the security advisory and awareness program across the NAB Group.
- assisting with the development of strategic security awareness initiatives relating to the direction of the security of the Group.
- creation of easy to understand resources and educational content that helps make customers feel confident online, and trust and utilise NAB’s digital platforms.
- educate NAB colleagues on how to keep customer and corporate information secure, where to report security incidents, and whom to contact for assistance.
- supporting the broader strategic Group Security partnerships agenda
What you will bring
- Experienced at managing and influencing relationships at a senior level in the organisation.
- Experience in translating complex concepts into engaging and accurate written/verbal communication for a diverse range of audiences.
- Experience with, or a demonstrated interest in security.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experienced in presenting to large and small groups at varying organisational levels
- Experienced in using time management and prioritisation skills to work through sometimes urgent, changing situations (such as incidents), with calm and focus.
- Basic consulting and stakeholder management experience.
- A bachelor’s degree or Higher Qualification in a field such as cyber security, information technology, communications, or change management highly desirable.
