Senior Consultant, Fraud Prevention & Detection

In the role of a Senior Consultant you will join the Fraud Prevention & Detection team that’s doubling down on delivering analytics to drive customer protection.
Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:
- Design, build and continually improve analytical and machine learning models to detect and predict fraud and scam behaviour.
- Analyse large and complex datasets to identify emerging fraud typologies, behaviours and risk indicators.
- Provide clear, evidence-based recommendations that inform prevention and detection.
- Partner with Fraud, Risk, Technology, and Operations teams to drive effective outcomes.
- Contribute to the uplift of NAB’s fraud analytics capability, standards and ways of working.
We’re looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need:
- Advanced analytics or data science experience, with a strong focus on fraud scams detection, prevention, or intelligence.
- Demonstrated expertise in data science, statistical modelling, and machine learning, ideally within a financial services or fraud environment.
- Strong understanding of fraud and scam intelligence, including emerging threat trends and behaviours.
- Proven ability to turn complex data into practical business outcomes.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with experience influencing decisions drawn from data and insights.
