About the Opportunity

Programmed have two exciting opportunities for experienced and motivated Groundspersons to join our team delivering high-quality grounds maintenance services for a key client in Karratha. This permanent, full-time position is part of a broader contract supporting approximately 600–700 residential properties linked to a state-of-the-art integrated gas production facility.

You will play a critical role in maintaining clean, safe, and well-presented outdoor environments, ensuring all work meets safety and environmental standards.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure designated grounds and service areas are kept clean, orderly, and well maintained.
  • Complete all grounds maintenance requests within allocated timeframes.
  • Carry out preparation, application, and basic weed/dieback control across lawns, gardens, landscaped areas, and bushland/mine site rehabilitation zones.
  • Perform physical groundskeeping duties such as manual weeding, mowing, edging, pruning, and general upkeep.
  • Apply, handle, and store chemicals safely and in accordance with relevant regulations.
  • Maintain daily logs, records, and reports of work completed.
  • Assist with green waste management across town and facilities.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, Australian Standards, and Health (Pesticides) Regulations 2011.

 

About You

To be successful in this role you will bring:

  • Qualifications or experience in horticulture, lawns & gardens
  • Current ChemCert accreditation (Desriable)
  • A current driver’s license
  • Professional, reliable, and effective communication skills.
  • Ability to execute work to a high standard with attention to detail.
  • Strong commitment to Quality, Environmental, and Occupational Health & Safety systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
