CBGU JV brings together partners CPB Contractors, BAM, Ghella and UGL to deliver the Tunnels and Stations package for Brisbane’s Cross River Rail.  Cross River Rail is a 10.2 kilometre rail line between Dutton Park and Bowen Hills, including 5.9 kilometres of tunnel under the Brisbane River and CBD.  The project also includes construction of four new high-capacity underground stations at Boggo Road, Woolloongabba, Albert Street, Roma Street and redevelopment of the existing Dutton Park station.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Reception/Administration Assistant to join the Project team. This is an office-based role working Monday to Friday at the reception in our Milton Office.  In this role you will be the first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, directing and managing queries/requests and providing administration support to the project office.  We are interested in your previous experience in an Administration support role, high attention to detail, adaptability and proven capability in building professional working relationships.

You will be responsible for:

  • Meeting and Greeting visitors, staff and couriers
  • Providing Administration and Front of House support to the Project team
  • Maintaining kitchens, keeping tidy, stocking and ordering 
  • Stationery, keeping supplies stocked and reordered
  • Assisting with queries and engaging with internal and external stakeholders
  • Assisting with the administration for the on-boarding of new employees, including sending out forms, collecting information and ordering IT equipment and mobile phones 
  • Information management and regular updates
  • Coordinating Mail and Couriers deliveries and collections 
  • Assisting with preparation of presentations, reports, draft correspondence and various administrative matters as required by line manager.
  • Any other administration duties as required and directed by your supervisor

Minimum requirements for this role include the following:

  • Previous administration and/or reception experience of at least 2 years
  • Desire to be a part of a large-scale construction project
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Outlook 
  • Experience with JDE would be desirable; however, training is available
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage own time effectively
