The Department of General Practice has 3 positions available for passionate and dedicated Lecturers (Practice) to join the team.
The Lecturer (Practice) will play a key role in developing curriculum and pedagogical practice that will deliver a rich, diverse and experiential learning experience, creating graduates with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in a globalised and competitive market. These positions will bring their experience from their profession to inform curriculum and provide links between the academy and industry and will contribute to scholarship-related activities including the development of curriculum, teaching materials and will engage in professional activities.
More specifically the Lecturer (Practice) will work towards achieving the University’s goal of increasing the number of students participating in professional, industry oriented learning activities as well as contributing towards the delivery of differentiated coursework programs for students within the Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences. You will offer guidance and support to students as they undertake learning in the Faculty, build networks and strategic alliances to drive and promote faculty initiatives and to identify opportunities for student engagement and practical work experience.
As the successful candidate, you will bring your proven significant clinical experience as a medical practitioner in General Practice to the fore, drawing on your relevant qualifications and track record.
These positions are part-time positions; however, flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.
