Remuneration: Pro-rata of $116,075 - $128,126 pa HEW Level 08 (plus 17% employer superannuation)

The Opportunity

The Monash Animal Research Platform has a position available as Veterinarian. Apply your high-level veterinary expertise to provide best practice veterinary care for a range of species across the different MARP locations. Contribute to the delivery of high-quality services including animal health maintenance and monitoring, advanced veterinary procedures and emergency veterinary care. This position will make a key contribution to the development and implementation of a best practice program of veterinary care across MARP facilities.

Reporting to the Veterinary Program Manager, the Veterinarian supports excellence in the use of animals in the research setting by providing expert advice, troubleshooting challenges and delivering training to technicians and researchers.

A veterinary degree registrable in Victoria is a prerequisite for the role.  Experience in the research animal setting would be highly regarded.
