The Opportunity
Join the Monash Centre for Professional Development and Monash Online as a Lecturer (Education-Focused).
Education-focused staff (as a subset of the Teaching and Research category of employment) at Monash are an elite category of the academy who focus on and contribute to the innovation of education and leading the design and delivery of education at the University. The Lecturer (Education-Focused) is expected to make a significant contribution to teaching and learning within Monash Online and will be on a trajectory towards leadership in educational design and delivery.
As the successful candidate you will be responsible for the design and delivery of asynchronous and synchronous learning materials that are innovative, active, and deliver enhanced workforce capabilities. Further, you will lead the implementation of programs to high standards, demonstrating professional organisation skills and quality outcomes.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong educational background or substantial relevant skills and work experience. The role requires qualifications and/or experience recognised by the University as appropriate for the relevant discipline area. A position at this level will require a doctoral qualification or equivalent research and teaching experience.
