The Opportunity
The Lead Analyst for the Cyber Security project applies high-level analytical and technical expertise to provide a range of complex and advanced advisory services, to support the business and strategic needs of the University’s technology systems across both local and international campuses. This includes but is not limited to Active Directory, storage, virtualization, end-user workstations, and networks, as part of a comprehensive cyber enhancement program.
The position works closely with senior stakeholders including project managers across Australian and international campuses, technical SMEs, faculty contacts, and external vendors, to identify and address the full scope of technical requirements. The Lead Analyst collaborates with both local and international teams to conduct comprehensive assessments of the international campuses existing configurations to support development of a detailed migration solution, as part of broader transformational activities.
The Lead Analyst is also responsible for leading the identification, development and implementation of new analytical processes, methodology and frameworks to enhance the operations of the Cyber Security Team across multiple, domestic and international campuses.
To be successful in this role the ideal candidate will have
- Superior interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to provide authoritative advice and effectively translate and present complex concepts and information with the ability to prepare and deliver engaging and informative presentations to a variety of audiences
- Strong understanding of cyber security principles, system integration, system migrations, enterprise change, and project management to drive large-scale technology infrastructure improvements
- Experience with corporate technology integrations and migrations in a large complex organization with the demonstrated ability to apply effective techniques in eliciting, documenting and modelling business requirements
- Extensive senior-level technical business analysis experience
- Experience working on large-scale technology change projects across international borders would be highly desirable
