The Opportunity
The Woodside Monash Energy Partnership (WMEP), a collaboration between Woodside Energy and the Faculty of Engineering at Monash University, focuses on driving the transition to a lower-carbon future. WMEP develops innovative solutions in clean energy, carbon abatement, and new energy technologies, aligning with themes such as Carbon Capture, Conversion, and Utilisation, and Energy Leadership.
We are seeking a Part-Time Technical Assistant (0.5 FTE) to support the Direct Air Capture (DAC) to Biological (DAC2BIO) conversion program. In this role, you will apply your technical knowledge to maintain biological cultures, assist with equipment setup, participate in experiments and field trials, and handle data collection and analysis. You will work closely with the DAC2BIO project lead and the broader DAC team.
