The Opportunity

The Advancement team has an exciting opportunity for a Manager - Prospect Management and Research. 

The Manager, Prospect Management and Research supports the Senior Manager, Analysis and Prospect Strategy in the delivery of the University’s ongoing fundraising success through the development of a strong and well managed donor pipeline and manages the Prospect Management and Research team. This includes managing a range of strategic and operational activities including prospect identification, portfolio review and management, prospect and donor research, due diligence assessments of prospective donors and gifts, relationship mapping and prospect briefing, prospect assignment and moves management, provision of reporting and analytics for fundraisers and Development leaders. 

As the successful candidate you will be responsible for managing and co-ordinating the operation of the prospect management and research function in accordance with University policies, procedures and strategic priorities. Further, you will manage and develop a highly-trained, motivated and efficient team with a strong customer focus.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong educational background or substantial relevant skills and work experience. The role requires postgraduate qualifications or progress towards postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience; or extensive experience and management expertise; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
