The Opportunity
The Director, Student Services & Success – Faculty Connect is a new senior leadership position that will play a critical role in enhancing how Monash delivers a cohesive, student-focused experience. Operating as the primary strategic interface between Student Services & Success, faculties and portfolios, this role will drive the translation of institutional strategy and large program changes into integrated faculty engagement and service delivery approaches.
The Director will be responsible for designing, implementing and continually refining a strategy that coordinates how Student Services & Success teams engage, communicate and collaborate with faculties, with a particular emphasis on the impacts of the Student Management System Transformation (SMST), technologies and other major change initiatives, ensuring faculty leaders have visibility, influence and confidence in the alignment between central initiatives and faculty needs.
The Director will lead the design and implementation of shared engagement models, governance mechanisms and communication channels that enable Student Services & Success teams to engage with faculties in a consistent, cohesive and strategic way to support a coordinated delivery of the Student Experience Plan. Critical to this role will be the ability to foster an inclusive, collaborative and innovative environment that respects the distinct priorities, operating models and rhythms of each faculty while ensuring alignment with University-wide standards and obligations.
This is an exciting opportunity for an accomplished leader to influence strategic change, strengthen partnerships and make a lasting impact on the student experience at Monash.
