The Opportunity

Join the Monash Education Academy (MEA) as our next Senior Project Officer and help shape the future of learning at Monash. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful work that supports excellence in teaching and learning across the University.

In this dynamic role, you’ll provide high‑quality professional and administrative support to ensure the smooth and effective operation of the MEA. You’ll be recognised for your sound judgment, strong process orientation, and ability to offer timely, accurate and solutions‑focused advice to a wide range of stakeholders.

As the Senior Project Officer, you will lead and coordinate a portfolio of high‑level projects and programs, working closely with senior stakeholders to scope, plan and deliver key outcomes. You will monitor progress against budgets, timelines and performance indicators, manage project governance and meeting schedules, and develop and implement change management strategies that support successful adoption. You will also oversee the planning and delivery of events, initiatives and activities, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timeframes.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong educational background or substantial relevant skills and work experience. The role requires a degree in a relevant field with subsequent relevant experience; or extensive experience and specialist expertise or broad knowledge in technical or administrative fields; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
