The Opportunity
Join a dynamic and student-focused communications team where you will play a key role in shaping how students connect with their university experience. As a Digital Student Communications Coordinator, you will take ownership of a diverse portfolio of digital channels, including campus screens, apps and student news platforms, ensuring timely, engaging and accessible content reaches a broad and vibrant student audience.
This role offers the chance to work across a wide range of projects and initiatives, collaborating with stakeholders to bring compelling stories and campaigns to life. You will contribute to the planning and delivery of digital communications, support livestreaming and major events, and help drive continuous improvement by adopting the latest trends and technologies in digital engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and maintain day-to-day content across digital student communication channels including campus screens, transport displays, the Student Portal, mobile applications and student news platforms, ensuring accuracy, relevance and timeliness.

Build strong relationships with stakeholders to identify communication opportunities, develop engaging storylines and ensure content aligns with broader strategic priorities.

Coordinate and align content across channels, maintaining consistency of messaging and effective scheduling, while managing stakeholder communication through platforms such as Asana.

Support the development, design and delivery of digital content, including participation in livestreaming and programming for major events and university initiatives.

Provide advice and support to stakeholders, maintain service standards through timely issue resolution, and contribute to continuous improvement by adopting emerging trends and best practices.
Key Selection Criteria

Demonstrated administrative and coordination experience, with the ability to implement efficient processes and support effective communication operations.

Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, manage competing deadlines and deliver outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

A strong commitment to customer service, with a proactive, solutions-focused approach to supporting stakeholders and resolving issues.

Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage a diverse range of stakeholders and tailor messaging for different audiences.

Strong analytical, problem-solving and technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with digital platforms or tools, with experience in video software or Google APIs considered advantageous
