Are you a dedicated Occupational Therapist with a passion for making a difference in rural/ regional communities? The Eyre and Far North Local Health Network is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team and deliver comprehensive, integrated health services for our community in Port Lincoln and providing a regional service to more than one community within the Eyre and Far North region.

About the Role: As an Occupational Therapist with our network, you will provide essential health services tailored to the needs of our local communities. Working within a multi-disciplinary team, you will engage in preventative care, early intervention, treatment, and evaluation, collaborating with health professionals and service providers from various sectors to deliver holistic care.

Please note this role is multi-classed as AHP1/AHP2 and classification will be determined by knowledge and experience. More than one position is available.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Comprehensive Care: Deliver a broad range of occupational therapy services, including assessment, intervention, and evaluation, tailored to the specific needs of individuals within the community.
  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team, coordinating with other health professionals and service providers to ensure integrated and effective care.
  • Regional Service: Provide occupational therapy services across multiple communities within the Eyre and Far North Region on a regular and rostered schedule.
  • Preventative and Interventional Approaches: Utilise preventative measures, early intervention strategies, and treatment approaches to enhance the health and well-being of clients.

The incumbent is able to reside in any of the following communities: Port Lincoln, Elliston, Streaky Bay, Ceduna, Coober Pedy, Wudinna, Cleve, Cowell, Kimba, Tumby Bay or Cummins. The incumbent will be required to provide a regional service to more than one community within the Eyre & Far North Region including those listed above on a regular and rostered schedule.
