Join Our Team as an Enrolled Nurse at Mount Gambier Hospital!

Are you a dedicated Enrolled Nurse ready to make a meaningful impact in patient care? Mount Gambier Hospital is looking for an enthusiastic Enrolled Nurse to join our Private Ward, where you will assist in delivering high-quality, evidence-based nursing care.

About the Role: In this role, you will support the Registered Nurse/Midwife in providing person-centred care to our patients. Your responsibilities will include delivering professional nursing care under their supervision while adhering to regulatory and statutory requirements. Whether you are at a novice or proficient level, you will have the opportunity to grow and develop your skills in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in providing high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to patients within the Private Ward.
• Support the Registered Nurse/Midwife in implementing person-centred care plans.
• Work under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse/Midwife while taking responsibility for your own actions and accountability in care provision.
• Monitor patient conditions and report any changes to the supervising nurse or midwife.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and statutory requirements in nursing practice.

You must be Enrolled or eligible for enrolment as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
