Attractive salary starting from $88,255 AHP2 / $104,180 AHP3 for up to 37.5 hours per week, plus 11.5% superannuation, professional development allowance for eligible activities and up to $10,000 reimbursement of approved relocation expenses for eligible applicants.

About the Role

CALHN is currently recruiting to a full-time, temporary Senior Clinical Neuropsychologist / Clinical Neuropsychologist vacancy, primarily servicing the Geriatric Evaluation and Management Unit (GEMU) and Specialist Dementia ward located at Hampstead. The successful applicant will work closely with allied health, medical and nursing within dynamic multidisciplinary teams, to provide world-class care to older adults.

The Senior Clinical Neuropsychologist / Clinical Neuropsychologist will complete assessments of cognition (including differential diagnosis) and decision-making capacity, provide consultation to medical and allied health team members, and deliver feedback/education to patients and their families. There is scope to be involved in facilitating groups and the provision of behavioural intervention/management for patients experiencing Behavioural and Psychological Symptoms of Dementia (BPSD).

More broadly, CALHN has a vibrant and supportive department of Clinical Neuropsychologists, Clinical Psychologists and Health Psychologists, with regular professional development opportunities and supervision provided. The role may also be required to flexibly provide support to neuropsychology teams across different services and sites within CALHN (including outpatients, acute and inpatient rehabilitation), in response to clinical demand.
