About the Role

Join a dynamic and purpose-driven team at the Adelaide Sexual Health Centre, where your work will make a real difference in the lives of individuals and the broader community. In this vital role, you’ll be responsible for managing the care of all patients within the department, working closely with Registrars, Consultants, Nurses and Allied Health professionals. You’ll play an active role in clinical decision-making, contribute to continuous quality improvement activities, and support educational initiatives designed to elevate standards of care and promote best practice.

As part of the South Australian STD Control Program, the Adelaide Sexual Health Centre offers a unique clinical environment with a strong public health focus. You'll be part of a multidisciplinary team committed to reducing the impact of sexually transmissible diseases through specialised patient care, clinical protocol development, training, and operational research. The Centre prides itself on innovation, leadership, and its supportive culture that fosters professional growth. About You

You are a compassionate and skilled medical professional who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering high-quality patient care. Your clinical knowledge, strong communication skills, and problem-solving abilities ensure you make a meaningful contribution to both patient outcomes and broader public health goals.

  • MBBS or equivalent, with General Registration as a Medical Practitioner in Australia

  • Strong communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills with a patient-first approach

  • Proven experience or interest in sexual health, STDs and quality improvement

  • Confident decision-maker with sound clinical knowledge and procedural skills
