About the Role

Are you a passionate and skilled Anaesthetist ready to take the next step in your career? We are seeking a dedicated Medical Practitioner to join our Anaesthesia team at the Royal Adelaide Hospital. In this vital role, you’ll be responsible for managing patient care in collaboration with a dynamic team of Consultants, Nurses and Allied Health professionals. You’ll be joining a supportive and forward-thinking department that values clinical excellence, safety, and compassion in all aspects of care.

As a Provisional Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (or holding an equivalent qualification), you’ll bring both advanced clinical skills and a strong commitment to teaching and continuous improvement. This role offers the opportunity to make a real impact, contributing to high-quality anaesthetic services and playing an active role in shaping future generations of clinicians. About You

We’re seeking a motivated and collaborative Anaesthetist who brings a strong clinical foundation, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

  • Eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia, with successful completion of the ANZCA Final Fellowship Examination (or equivalent) and at least 18 months of clinical anaesthesia experience.

  • Demonstrated commitment to professional excellence, continuous learning, and participation in departmental activities.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams and across diverse cultural backgrounds.

  • Sound clinical knowledge, including current standards, investigations and treatments relevant to the role, with a flexible and positive approach to change and direction.
