Join the Yorke and Northern Local Health Network (YNLHN) as a Services Assistant and play a vital role in supporting high-quality catering, cleaning, and laundry services that directly impact the comfort and wellbeing of our clients and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support catering services by preparing simple meals, portioning ingredients, plating food, and assisting clients with menu completion.
• Contribute to housekeeping through cleaning duties, carpet care, high-level dusting, and general upkeep of the health unit.
• Provide laundry services including washing, drying, folding, labelling, and storing linen, uniforms, and clothing.
• Assist in managing materials and equipment, including checking stock, reporting repairs, and safely operating machinery.
• Work cooperatively with the team and follow clear, structured instructions to ensure smooth daily operations.

What We’re Looking For:

We’re seeking someone reliable, motivated, and willing to learn, with limited experience in housekeeping, catering, or laundry services. You’ll be comfortable with physical, hands-on tasks and able to follow procedures to maintain high standards of hygiene and safety. Your teamwork, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering quality support services will make you a valued member of our care environment.

This is a part time vacancy, working 48 hours per fortnight and salary will be adjusted according to actual hours worked.
