The Limestone Coast Local Health Network (LCLHN) is seeking an Executive Director Operations to provide strategic and operational leadership across acute and residential aged care services. Reporting to the CEO, you will oversee the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care, ensure performance targets are met, and support the implementation of LCLHN’s strategic priorities. This role offers the opportunity to lead a large, multidisciplinary health organisation serving 71,000 people across south-east South Australia, with a focus on innovation, service development, and population-based health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the operational delivery of health services across the LCLHN, ensuring efficiency, safety and quality, and performance targets are met.
  • Drive the development and implementation of service plans, policies, and programs that meet community and population health needs.
  • Collaborate with executive directors, clinical leads, and corporate teams to manage budgets, resources, and workforce effectively.
  • Support strong clinical and care governance, monitor outcomes, and ensure person-centred care across all facilities.
  • Foster strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, government agencies, and community organisations to inform decision-making.
  • Champion continuous improvement, innovation, and research to enhance service delivery and health outcomes in the region.

What we’re looking for

  • Do you have a tertiary qualification or extensive experience in health leadership and management?
  • Do you have a proven track record in strategic planning, policy development, and program implementation?
  • Are you an experienced leader who can inspire multidisciplinary teams and drive change in complex health settings?
  • Do you have strong project management skills, including service evaluation and continuous improvement?
  • Do you understand rural and regional health challenges and can deliver culturally safe care for Aboriginal communities?
